”The Constant” has a 70s Carly Simon ballad feel. It is sung is by the character of Helen, who is based on Helen Dukas, Einstein’s long-time personal secretary and one of the people who was closest to him.

In this song, Helen expresses that she doesn’t know how to move forward without Einstein who was her “constant.” This is a reference to the Cosmological Constant, which Einstein invented and then later removed from his Theory of Relativity.

Three more singles will be released each 1st of the month through July.

This song features Deidre Rodman Struck (piano), Bronson Bush (guitar), Tina Lama (bass), and Konrad Meissner (drums).
